In the eyes of many, these bikes from smaller brands primarily focus on cost-effectiveness. While they may not match the quality and appearance of larger manufacturers, they provide an alternative for everyday riding.

The Dalongshen F7 is a Chinese brand model that stands out by offering two versions: one with 150cc displacement and another with 400cc displacement. Both fall within the category of mid-to-small displacement bikes common among domestically produced motorcycles. In terms of appearance, the F7 sports a design reminiscent of certain models from Honda’s CBR series and Kawasaki’s XXR series. However, it features distinctive differences in engine specifications and configuration due to the unique components used in Chinese-made models.

The Dalongshen F7 sports the DLS400-2D engine with an actual displacement of 367cc. It utilizes the latest electronic fuel injection system designed to comply with national emission standards, making it legal for road use. The 400cc version employs a twin-cylinder design with water-cooling, while the 150cc version uses a single-cylinder air-cooled engine. Both variants feature electronic fuel injection, allowing the use of regular 92-93 octane gasoline, making them environmentally friendly in terms of fuel requirements.

Despite their different displacements, both versions are priced at 9,800 RMB for the 150cc model and 13,800 RMB for the 400cc model. While these bikes may not match the visual appeal of liter-class motorcycles, they are quite popular in the realm of small-displacement Chinese sports bikes, especially those that carry the “horizon” label. The F7 attracts attention with its stylish appearance, and its affordability makes it appealing to a younger demographic.

In conclusion, the Chinese motorcycle market offers a diverse range of brands, including lesser-known ones like Dalongshen.
