Infinite Mugen Strengthens the Dynamic Presence of Honda Odyssey!
Honda’s well-known minivan, the Odyssey, has made a comeback in the Japanese market with a new upgrade from the official tuning brand, “Infinite Mugen.” This upgrade is set to give the Odyssey a refreshed and dynamic presence, and it’s expected to be showcased at the 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon.
Mugen, well recognized for its collaboration with Honda, has enhanced the Odyssey by adding rose gold-painted accents on the headlight/front bumper, radiator grille, window frames, and door handles, giving it a touch of luxury. Additionally, they have incorporated components such as a carbon fiber front garnish and lower lip spoiler, along with upgraded 19-inch MDA multi-spoke lightweight aluminum wheels, to enhance its sporty look. The front fenders also feature Infinite Mugen chrome badges, adding to its unique identity.
After being absent from the Japanese market for two years, the Odyssey has returned with three trim levels: Absolute, Absolute EX, and Absolute EX Black Edition, ranging in price from 4,800,400 to 5,164,500 Japanese Yen. The lineup includes standard features like LED lighting, second-row independent Ottoman power seats, heated front and second-row seats, a second-row center folding table with integrated cupholders, Honda Connect smart connectivity functions, and the Honda Sensing driver-assistance system.
The collaboration between Honda Odyssey and Infinite Mugen not only revives the minivan’s visual appeal but also adds a touch of sportiness and luxury. The anticipated showcase at the 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon is sure to attract automotive enthusiasts eager to witness this dynamic transformation.
